A point of view you remember.
A Harlingen, Texas native and University of Texas at Austin graduate, Roddy grew up in a family brokerage spanning more than 50 years—measuring houses and hanging signs by age eight. His own sales journey began with $25,000 duplexes and eventually reached $4 million homes in Beverly Hills: a trajectory he never imagined, built by saying yes to every opportunity.
Those opportunities carried him through real estate FinTech, media, brokerage leadership, home staging, publishing, and more than $400 million in real estate sales. He has led and supported over 8,000 agents across California and Texas while remaining close to the work: clients, contracts, culture, and the messy middle where leadership actually happens.

His real estate FinTech career began in New York’s Silicon Alley, where his first startup sent him across the country and around the world teaching newspapers how to make property listings immediately accessible through dial-up internet in the age of AOL. The project was later sold to Hearst Newspapers—launching a career spent translating new technology into practical opportunity.

EGOT means Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony—the four major American entertainment awards. Roddy has sold homes once owned by Debbie Reynolds and Cher—including the home marketed with “the pool where Princess Leia learned to swim”—and has relocated celebrated athletes and entertainers. Now he’s looking to represent his first Tony Award winner. Know someone? Please send the referral.
Roddy doesn’t teach from theory. He teaches from the deals, decisions, reinventions, and hard conversations that built the career.

Roddy also owns a Southern California home staging company, bringing design, logistics, market positioning, and sales strategy under one roof.
His commitment is simple: remove friction for sellers, make preparation more accessible, and create the presentation buyers need to feel before they act. From $25,000 duplexes to $4 million Beverly Hills homes, the principle has remained the same—every seller deserves thoughtful strategy, honest guidance, and a team engineered around the outcome.
